Seaside Retrievers became a registered AKC Kennel in 2007, and shortly thereafter began limited breeding under that name. In 2008, Seaside Retrievers had five National Derby List pups, three of which had 30 or more Derby Points and five Qualified All-Age pups.
In 2009, King has already won his Qualifying at Coastal Bend. Our most recent Field Trial litter was born February 8th and we, again, anticipate their future accomplishments.
We look forward to the inevitable change for 2009 with great expectation for our Chopper/Dora pups and from Schooner, Dora and King as they matriculate to Dave Rorem.
The Grady/Dora pups were an exciting mix of yellows and blacks and were fortunate to go to excellent field trial homes, as well.
The training, handling and breeding of these wonderful animals continues to frustrate, thrill and challenge us daily. With the distraction of daily living, however, they provide us joy and fulfillment as we share our passion with others.
As we look forward to the coming season, we hope to see you along the way.
