Seaside Retrievers became a registered AKC Kennel in 2007, and shortly thereafter began limited breeding under that name. In 2008, Seaside Retrievers had five National Derby List pups, three of which had 30 or more Derby Points and five Qualified All-Age pups.

In 2009,  Seaside's Cutty Sark became our first Field Champion and qualified for the 2009 National Open.

In 2010, Seaside's Get the Party Started and Seaside's Pelican Pete earned their Field Championships and qualified for the 2010 National Open.  

In 2010, five Dora pups had Derby points, three with Qualifying WINS.

In 2010, Seaside's "Annie", Seaside's "Shooter", and Seaside's "Ellie" made the National Derby List and Seaside's Kingfish earned an Open WIN in December
